Hello!
Reynan Punzalan, Founder/Director
Reynan Punzalan was born in the Philippines and moved to The Bronx at the age of 4. He specializes in colorful weavings which combine traditional and unexpected materials. As an avid traveler and native New Yorker, he is inspired not only by the local crafts of skilled textile and basket weavers from around the world, but also by the dynamic and bold fashion scene of the city. His work is a celebration of rich textures and vibrant colors which simultaneously pay homage to both primitive and contemporary art.
Reynan earned his BA from Vassar College as an Art Major with a focus on sculpture. Immediately after, he completed a one year architecture program, “A Tale of Two Cities”, through Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. He spent two semesters in Paris studying art, architecture, and French. Professionally, he has also worked in Marketing for Knoll for 15 years which has helped sharpen his keen sense for beautiful design. His work has been featured in Knoll Showrooms in New York City and also in an exhibition at WallWorksNY in The Bronx.
Reynan currently lives and works in both The Bronx and Roscoe, NY.

Marisa Ruglio
Marisa Ruglio began throwing pots at Earthworks on the Upper East Side of New York City, seeking a tactile outlet to balance long hours spent writing in advertising. After nearly a decade of exploring different clays, forms, and firings, she relocated to a mountaintop in Roscoe, NY—where pottery evolved from pastime to passion, and her work took on a more sculptural, personal identity.
Marisa creates functional yet artistic ceramics that reflect the natural curves and weathered, muddled surfaces of the Catskills landscape. Drawn to form over formal decoration, she favors cone 6 salt firing—a process where atmospheric effects in the kiln create elemental unpredictability across each piece. Her pottery evokes the timeworn beauty of ancient artifacts, echoing the found forms that first inspired her as a child.
A professional copywriter with an MA in literature, Marisa weaves narrative into her work, telling stories through texture, shape, and surface, as well as through written reflections that share her inspiration. Her ceramics—and the sentiments they carry—can be found in local markets and shops throughout the region including Catskills Curated, The Hound Books, and the Farmhouse Project Makers Market.
